Question: What careers can I have with a vocal performance major!?
Well after that I want to be a doctor so I'm wondering if that sounds like a good idea to make CD's with that major and use the funds from the CD's to pay off med school!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that you can basically go on to do anything you want, just as long as you've got a bachelor degree of some kind!. The bachelor degree is becoming what the high school diploma used to be!. It just gets your foot in the door!. Now, I wouldn't count on selling cds to pay your bills, but you never know!. Maybe you could get a job singing in a fancy restaurant!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Being a Vocal performance major is really hard work!. I have been one for two years now and I am at school from seven a!.m!. to nine p!.m!. some nights!. Only do this if you have a real love for music theory, opera, and choir rehearsals!. I honestly can't judge your voice to say whether or not you will be able to make a CD that will pay off your med school, but I can say that the chances are slim!. The music world isn't nice!. I practice out of my mind and feel like I am doing so well when judges will push me right into the ground and tell my that my performance wasn't good enough!. It is rewarding in the end, if you make it!. But I wouldn't count on your cd's paying you through med school!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
