Question: A good beginner bass guitar!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Here are a number of good beginner instruments - they aren't top-of-the-line, but still solid quality and pretty inexpensive:
Squier Affinity P Bass
Squier Affinity J Bass
Squier Vintage Modified Precision/Jazz Bass
Peavey Millenium
Peavey Milestone 5
Yamaha RBX170
Ibanez GAXB
Ibanez GSR200
Warwick Rockbass Streamer Standard
OLP MM2

Any of those should work nicely!.!.!.the most important thing, though, is to play it yourself before you buy it!. Go to a music store with a few basses in mind, and play them for a while; figure out which one feels the best, sounds the best, and suits your needs the best - then you'll be set =)

Hope you find what you're looking for!

The Peavey Millennium series is great, but they start around $240!. Ibanez and Yamaha both make models around $140-200 which you might consider as well!. You really just need to go to a store and try as many guitars in your price range as you can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
