Is armstrong a good flute brand?

Question: Is armstrong a good flute brand!?

HI Madi,

Congrats on joining your school band and you are very smart about choosing the flute :)) !.!.!.!. very popular instrument and definitely fun to learn and play!.

You say you already have your instrument!.!.!. an Armstrong and you are asking if it is a good brand!. Well, Armstrong has been making flutes for about 50 years so they have been in business for a very long time!. If you got a student model beginner Armstrong flute, I think it will serve you for your first couple of years!. They are designed for the beginning student and you should be able to learn all of your basics on the Armstrong!. But!.!.!.!. after you have played for a few years, you will no longer be a beginner and will need an upgrade from the student model!. At that time, you should be looking for something that is going to be more competitive for you!. Perhaps a Yamaha or Pearl intermediate or step up flute!. Though Armstrong is a nice basic flute, not alot of private lesson teachers are recommending them!. Since so many kids play on the Yamaha flute, you will want to be able to compete with them with the same level of instrument!.

No to worry at this early of a time!.!.!.!. just learn your basics on the flute that you have!. And remember one very important thing!.!.!. OK!?

Not any more!. Like Artley and Gemeinhardt, these companies have no ability to be competitive anymore!. Try Yamaha, Jupiter, Pearl, Emerson, and a few others!. Google for Jen Cluff ( not me !. !. ) and read her excellent articles about shopping for flutes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Armstrong is a good flute for starter students, I am using a Selmer flute for band, hope this helped!.!.!.
