Question: New String on Electric Guitar Fret Buzz!?
I got these D'Addoria same gauge strings as an Yamaha Pacifica!. I put them all on by removing every string and putting new ones!. Now horrible fret buzz!. I have an fairly underbow truss rod!. action is about at the 12th fret is 0!.5cm between the fretboard to strings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

make sure your tuned properly http://fretjam!.com for online tuner, but without looking at the guitar I can't help much, get a professional to look at it; you might try http://www!.youtube!.com type in "guitar setup" there will be several videos to show you whats going on!. I'm not sure what underbow of truss rod is, never heard the term, what's string height in mm or 32ndsWww@QuestionHome@Com

!.5 centimeters is almost !.2 inches which I would think would be high enough!.
It's probably just "new string buzz"!. wound strings always take a while to stretch out and lose that buzzy sound!.
I hate that!. I always try to make sure I change strings no later than a week before a gig, to get rid of that stupid noise!.

If your old strings were OK and the new ones aren't, that is probably your only problemWww@QuestionHome@Com
