Question: Can someone compose a practicing schedule for me!? Much appreciated!.!.!.read details!. !?
There's an audition coming up in two weeks at my school!. We're doing an Andrew Lloyd Webber medley, who is my favorite composer, ever!. The person in charge of it is letting the lower-level chorus audition for it do be background singers, which would be an AMAZING experience!. He's only choosing three sopranos, so I want to practice as much as I can!.
Like I said, it's in two weeks!. I can play three Andrew Lloyd Webber songs on the piano, so that'll help me practice!.

What I'd like someone to do is comprise a practicing schedule for me!. I can only practice an hour a day, max, because I have tons of homework every night, but I can surrender that much!.

I'd like something specific for each day, and how to progress so that I'll be the absolute best I can be on that day!.

Thank you so much!Www@QuestionHome@Com

As an experienced musician, I would give you this advice!.
I expect that you'll only sing one song at you audition, hopefully they'll let you pick one of the ones you know!. So here's how I'd do it:

At the beginning of each practice, run through all the songs you know once each!.

Then take one song and practice that one exclusively for the rest of your session!. If you have a favorite one that you really want to sing the most and are the best at!. since you only have two weeks, concentrate on that one song during your practice!.
If you have time, run through your 3 songs again one last time at the end!.

I know it sounds like it might be boring, but all that repetition will help with your confidence when you get up to sing, since you'll know it well by then!.

That's how I used to conduct practices with bands that I was in!. We'd play all our known songs to keep them fresh in our minds and then learn one more song the rest of the practice!.
Then add that to the set list and then learn another the next practice!.

Repetition is the key to success!. (as long as you're doing it right, hehe)
