Question: I'm trying to join a Drum Corp!.!.!.!?
Please, not to sound rude, but if you don't know what a Drum Corp is please don't respond, and personal experiences would be awesome!
So my all-time favorite drum corps are Phantom, Cavaliers, and Blue Coats!.
I want to join a Drum corp, and I've looked around and everything!. I was contacted back from Milwaukee Pioneer!. Are they any good!? Is it a good experience!? They have good sound, and I'm not all about winning, but I would just like to know!. also how much does it usually cost to be in a drum corp!? Again, experience would be amazing!
also, has anyone tried out for phantom!? If they did, what instrument!? and was it really hard!?
Oh I'm going to be switching from trombone to baritone (no worries, I know how to play baritone already)
So!.!.!.could people please tell me what they think of Milwaukee Pioneer
Are they good!? Are they worth trying to join!?
How much does it cost to join a DCI group!?
Is it difficult trying out for Phantom!? Experiences/instruments would be helpful!.

I have played many of the tunes in your repertoire, don't worry, you are well on your way to excellence!.
I suggest looking into dci!.org to get last seasons scores and recaps which will tell you how well the groups did!. dci!.org will have links to all the corps websites & you can go to them, clik on "contact us" and ask as many direct questions from audition schedule and materials, to mini camps before auditions, to estimated tour costs & fundraising!.
Honestly, if i had to pick between pioneer and phantom I would pick phantom (personal taste)!. I suggest you audition for all corps you are seriously interested in & see who accepts you!. I gotta say that marching a Bari is hell on the shoulders, start working on upper body strength!Www@QuestionHome@Com
corp's tours are EXPENSIVE!. expect to shell out 2-4 thousand dollars!.
if you like marching cool drill, join the cavis!. if you like playing cool music, join phantom!. if you like losing and constantly being insulted, join pioneers or mandarins!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
