Question: Next Question about using digital projectors in stage performance!.!.!.!?

If I'm using 3 projections screens (2 downstage and one large upstage as the backdrop) and I am using QLab (thanks AnnaD) do I need
-3 Digital Projecters
-3 macs!?!?

3 projectors yes, but not necessarily 3 macs! If your Mac has multiple graphics cards (our video Mac at work has 2 dual graphics cards, so 4 outputs) then QLab will happily run multiple outputs!. We're running 4 screens off it at the moment - 1 screen for the operator with all the QLab information on it, and 3 different video feeds!. I'm not sure what QLab's maximum output number is, but it certainly copes with four! Just be aware that this is running on a MacPro with something like 5GB of RAM and 2 dual-core processors - you need some big computing power to ake everything run properly and smoothly!Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my experience, the guy who did our projections used two projectors and one mac!. I couldn't tell you how he wired it!.!.!.or how he ran the programs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
