Question: How to do Electric Guitar Wiring on a Fender Stratocaster!?!?

Well, i have a Squier 2 Fender Stratocaster!. a friend gave it to me because the wiring in it is messed up!.!. i guess he didnt want to fix it!.!. so, i opened it up!. and i want to know, is there a website that can give me step by step instructions on how to reconnect all the wires in an electric guitar!. and how!. thanks :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

I just did the same job on a Squier II, it wasn't difficult!. Type in "stratocaster wiring" on Google image search and you'll get a lot of wiring diagrams - they're all basically the same, so it shouldn't be hard to find one you can use!. I just picked the one with the largest dimensions so I could print it out to use as a reference while I worked on the thing!.

As far as step-by-step instructions, guitar wiring's just a matter of knowing how to use a soldering iron (heat the part, not the solder) and very basic electrical knowledge (avoid ground loops)!. Since you're not wiring this thing from scratch, all you have to do is compare yours with the diagram and it shouldn't be hard to find the problem!.
