Position:Home>Performing Arts> Decision suicide...?

Question: Decision suicide!.!.!.!?
I'm in such a whirlwind right now of what to do!. Ok, let me put the situation numerically so it's easier lol!.:

1!.) Entering my second year of college where I really don't want to return to!.
2!.) So, I'm probably taking a "gap year", some time off!.!.!.and I want to withdraw!.
3!.) Reason for that-there's a local casting director who has acting for commercial workshops and connects you with Hollywood and Talent Agents!.
4!.) I'm not forgetting about college altogether, just for a time to do this program with her!.
5!.) However, I'm excited and afraid it might get me somewhere!!
A!.) I'm afraid that, if I do get signed to a talent agency and start working on commercials, movies, and tv shows, I won't be able to audition/work as a Disney Theme park character!.!.!.and that makes me sad a little :/ Is it possible that talent agents "let" you work as a Disney Character!?
B!.) My other worry is college!. I want to transfer but I don't know where!. If I do get signed, I guess I have to stay in CA!. But I like Florida!.!.!.and I still want to perform in theatre productions in school!.!.!.I'm scared I may be taking a HUGE step!. Can you cancel a talent agency or put it on hold!.!.!.or "tone it down"/on hiatus for awhile!?! lol

I know that if I take some time off formal education, I will appreciate it much more when I return!.!.!.!.!.but I'm scared of what may happen, preventing me from doing the normal performing such as local theatre and auditioning for Disney Parks, Universal Studios, etc!. The only thing I know for certain is that you can work on an entertainment career while being in college lol!.

As you can see!.!.!.I am utterly confused! Please help and thank you so so much!.!.!.!.

Oh yeah!.!.!.!.ANOTHER possibility!.!.!.a performing arts conservatory!.

This is great!.!.!.JUST great
( *sarcasm*) lolWww@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds like you have a great opportunity to launch your career forward!. It sounds like a risk because you would be stepping over the areas that you planned on developing your skills at!.

Opportunities like this one don't always present themselves!. I think you need to "strike while the irons hot"!. Go for it, but proceed with caution!. Make sure that if an agent wants to sign you that your going to be able to be active, not just a name on his list of clients!. If the agent has a good reputation of finding opportunities for his clients and treating them fairly then I'd go for it!. If it doesn't work out you can always take a step back and restart!. If you don't try it you'll never know the opportunity that you may have missed out on, or if you'll get an opportunity like it again any time soon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
