Yes, I do for about 30 yrs now!. Met pipers from all over the world and had lessons from some of the big names in piping!. Competed in Scotland and played in the World's Pipe Band Championships!. Don't regret a minute of it!. One of my big enjoyments is to do a program for some grade school and explain pipe music and a tune and then play the tune for the kids!. Explain tuning and demonstrate it so they begin to understand what a good pipe sounds like!. Hopefully it will inspire some youngster to take them up someday!. At least they won't leave and say all the music sounds the same or it's a bagpipe just makes a lot squawking sounds!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Does it count if I know a guy who played them!? He plays trumpet now, but his middle school's mascot was the Scotties, so he played bagpipes for marching band - he played oboe then!. He marched with the full Scottish regalia (kilt!) and everything!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I tried for a while but my Dad did!. He was in a Pipeband and often wore a kilt in daily life!. I love the music!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
