toss the Sabre?????

Question: How hard is it to twirl/spin/toss the Sabre!?!?!?!?!?

This is my fourth year in color guard and next year (when i'm a sophomore) i can try out for curves which include Rifle or Sabre!. I would LOVE to learn how to perform with Sabres!. however, it looks a little hard!. How long did it take you to learn it!? Any tips!? Thanks in advance!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's really not that hard!. I learned how to toss and spin it in one day!. Of course it wasn't perfect but that's what practice is for!. If you'd love to do it then just go for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not hard if your instructor takes the time to teach you properly because if they don't it becomes easy to hurt yourself and develop bad habits!. Once you have those bad habits it becomes difficult to fix them!. An instructor for example should never ask you to throw a quad when you don't have a double!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
