Question: Has anyone performed a burlesque show before!?

im very intrested in burlesque and i wondered if someone could tell me a bit about it and how they got into it!.

Well, I have played in the bands in Cabarets in Europe and that is about as close to BURLIGHY QUEUE as it's called!.

I got into it by hearing about it from another street musician who knew of a Cabaret that was putting a new band together for a new show they were coming out with!. So, I auditioned and got the job!.!.!. it didn't pay all that well!.!.!. but at least I made enough to rent my own apartment and quit sleeping on other peoples couches for a few months!.

The MAIN thing I got out of it was to use it as a reference when I applied for the job of playing piano and guitar for the traveling Ballet Company because that took me all over Europe, including the Eastern Bloc countries at a time when Amerikans couldn't cross the border!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
