All it is, we're in a showcase semi-final and I was just wondering what everyone's general perception isWww@QuestionHome@Com

you can do alot more with dynamics, get quieter and build gradually (build the excitement alot more)

bass; lost in the texture, bring it up-especially when the guitar drops out (a bit of pop n slap in those sections would give fat texture) listen to red hot chili peppers for the sense of balance i am talking about!.

drummer; playing the hihat too open all the time makes you sound sloppy-tighten it up change it around a bit-experiment getting the hihat to speak instead of mumble all the time!.
also-can't hear the kick drum (bad mic placement!? too much pillow!?)

vocals; poor balance-bring up the backing vocals about 15% more at least!.

its a nice tune, yet it can be played cleaner with a lot more emotion and drive (dynamics)!.

playing loud all the time is about the same as making love without any tenderness your just banging away full speed, no tease, no titilation,!.!.!.no passion!
