You didn't mention a preference for an acoustic or electric!. A recommendation would also depend on your size ( length of fingers, body size, etc!.) If you're small, you don't want a huge body on the guitar, right!? I'm also guessing that you are wanting something for a FIRST guitar to learn on!.
Your primary consideration should probably be the ACTION!. In other words, how easy is the neck of the guitar to navigate!. This is something that a knowledgeable guitar player can help you with!. Most likely at a music shop!. At least get some pointers there even if you don't buy there!. The easier the guitar is to play, the easier it will be to learn!.
You might consider a nylon string acoustic for learning!. The strings are easy on the fingers!. You won't build up the necessary calluses for the steel string guitars, but that can come later!.
QUALITY guitars under $100 may be hard to come by, but they're out there!. Gibson, Fender, Ovation, Martin are all very good, but pricey!.
Good Luck!.

Not sure about the pink!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should be using a full sized guitar!. The only people who should be using junior and 3/4 guitars are children not even in middle school!. You are definitely old enough to train on the real deal!. You should start on acoustic!. This will increase your hand strength and force you to play much more cleanly!.

As far as brands, you should never buy on brand!. I've seen many a Custom Shop Gibson come from factory with a neck so bowed you could see it from 10ft away!. Fender's often come in with frets that with shred your fingers on the side of the neck!. These guitars are all over $2000!.

You should go to your local store and try them out!. You'll probably want to go somewhere with a decent used section if your looking at under $100!. There are plenty out however right at $100!.

Guitar Center and Sam Ash just recently went no haggling!. You used to be able to work a good deal out, but now the sales folk have their hands tied!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

try to get a used one from a music store!. you can get one for less than $100 to see if you can play it and like playing!. once you have an inexpensive one, you'll be better able to know what you like and dislike and make a better choice with a better guitar in the future!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Best brand" for under $200 is not going to happen!. Those are more like $4,000!. This one was under $200!.!.!.
