Hi Matthew,

That is easy!. Get the piccolo!. It is lighter, smaller, and wayyyyy less expensive!.!.!.!. and besides that!.!.!.!. 100% easier to sell when you are finished with playing it, as lots of flute players are into playing piccolo!.

I would also imagine it is easier to learn and more comfortable to march with, if you are going to be marching!.
