Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You can go about it different ways!. 1) Get a teacher!. I learned music from a teacher when I was four-- if she could teach a preschooler, anyone can teach you!. 2) Buy a music workbook and study on your own!. You'll learn the basics of the staff and its notes!. 3) Always practice reading, with a piano if possible!. At first, just name the notes out loud (A, D, etc!.) Then try to sing them!. Remember that it can take years for a singer to be able to sight-sing well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com learning to read is a great thing to do for a vocalist!. it will help if you have access to a piano, or other instrument!. But the piano is a great way to visualize the notes!. I am sure there are lots of websites on the internet that tell the basics so I will just link to one!. Www@QuestionHome@Com |
