Conversion from another clef will slow you down!. Learn the bass clef as a separate entity - like you know different rules when playing basketball and football!. Go to www!.practicespot!.com and print off - or do online - a bunch of worksheets - yeah, sounds like homework from school!. But you are motivated, and this will not take long!.

Good luck with your tryout!. I am a NYSSMA judge - NY - and we hear about 300,000 kids a year! Not me - I am good for maybe 60 a weekend!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just think everything is one whole line down from treble cleff, so E becomes G and so forth
Treble Bass
---------------- F ---------------- A
---------------- D ---------------- F
---------------- B ---------------- D
---------------- G ---------------- B
---------------- E ---------------- GWww@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with the answer right before this one!. Learn the bass clef as something new and different!. You'll catch on eventually and it will become easy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
