Question: Would it be possible for me to follow my dream and!.!.!.!?
Would it be possible for me to follow my dream and become an actress and a writer!?
I'm a 13 year old girl and those are the career choices I would like to do
Writing because - I have been writing ever since I was five years old!. I started with diary entries, then moved onto stories, and now have written 4 full-length novels, none of which I can have enough guts to get published!. I am so scared of rejection!. Any ideas on that!? I am apparently more literate than the majority of my age group, and that helps me a lot in my writing!.
Acting because - I just love it so much!. I was the lead in our school play My Fair Lady last year and have signed up to various acting classes in order to grab at any opportunity I can get!. I am in the top five percent of Drama students in the country, as well as being in the top five percent for English!.

So am I just a pathetic wannabe with no real talent whatsoever!? I really would like to know!? Or do I have a chance of following my dream!? thankyou!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well chances are that you have some talent whatsoever, given how you got the lead!. How do you know you're in the top 5 percent of drama and english students in the country!? i didn't know they kept track ofthat kinda stuff unless you're not in the US!. anyhow, its very possible, but I will let you know that both of the careers you aspire to are very difficult ones that are not very sure!. You could have a book published, but it might not make much money!. I have many friends who are writers and actors who often have trouble making ends meet, but its worth it for alot of them who are simply glad to be doing what they love!. As for your novels, I think its great that youre already started, but even if your writing level is extremely mature, it may be difficult for you to sell any because you don't think or have the same experiences as adults, who would therefore be less likely to read your books!. I reccomend that you keep writing and in 2 or 3 years try to get some of your books published!. As for acting, this is a much more risky road than writing, but if its osmething that you really want to do then you should keep taking your classes and perhaps get an agent!. you are indeed a wannabe, but that doesnt make you pathetic and says nothing about your talent!. a wannabe simply means someone who "wants to be!." I am a pro musician, but i gladly call myself a "wannabe" rockstar!. be a wannabe with pride :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just remember that Drama classes become so different once you hit postsecondary levels!. But if it's what you want, definitely go for it!. I suggest getting as much experience as you can!. Graduate high school and go on to higher learning - you may find something else you prefer!. I started out as a Drama student but I found that it wasn't really what I wanted to do!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
