Question: I want to learn to play the guitar(Advice Please)!?

I want a acoustic guitar ,but im a full time college student on a student budget!. How much would one cost!?
Wheres the best place to find one!?

To my students I recommend the Yamaha acoustic, you can get a really nice sounding one at the Guitar Center!.!.!.!.!.just be sure to try out all the guitars that are in your budget, as they all have a little different action and sound!. You can get one for beginners that has a great sound for $250!.00, one of my students got one and asked for a deal and they reduced it by $50!.00!. Good luck to you!. As for books, ask one of the clerks which is the best out now for your style of playing, (you didn't say what style you play), make sure that you get one of the books that has a Cd in the back, this way you can hear if your playing the lesson correctly !!!!!!!!!! If you want check out this site, they have a lot of books for beginners with the Cd in the back!.

For a beginner, you don't really need a nice guitar!. I'd suggest buying a semi-cheap one on ebay!. Then, if you decide you like playing, you can buy a better one later on!.
I'd suggest Mel Bay guitar method!. THey have three books I've worked through!. Not the best music, but it's ok!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
