Question: The major bass scale!?
is this right

E----3---5
A---2---3--5
D---2---4--5Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Yes, that's G Major!.

What you have is one octave, which is useful!. You could consider playing around with a 4-string pattern which is about 1 1/2 octaves, so it's not a complete number of octaves, but is better for general improvising rather than scale practice!.
