Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: as for the piano, i would go to a music store and ask what would be suitable for your situation, budget, needs!. etc; you can go through your phonebook and find music teachers, find out if they teach piano, and ask if you are a good tudent for them!. also, the music shop near you might offer piano lessons!. if not, many teachers either have you at their houswe to learn, or come to you at your home!. so , whichever suits you and your schedule!. and for your first piano book, i used a book which i believe was called "piano book for the older begginer!." as most begginner books have pictures of unicorns and flowers and weird stuff!. this book has smal lessons of piano theory, and many songs from just numbering of the fingers, and little excersises, to learning new hand positions, and accidentals!. i think this would be good book for you!. it should be available at your music shoppe, and maybe a book store!. if you plan not to get lessons, i would reccomend a piano book from the "for dummies" collection of books!. although the name might make you feel a little stupid, it is enough to self teach yourself!. it will teach you most everything that a book could possibly teach you!. it will teach the basics and include practice songs!. then you can get the followup books like piano for dummies 2, and piano songs for dummies!. whoa!. that was lengthy!. i hope i helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com Usually the store where you buy your piano/keyboard will offer up lessons!.
