A Guild DV-4 is a very beautiful playing and sounding guitar, and should sell for somewhere around 850-900!.(including hardshell case) On the Acoustic/Electric side is the Breedlove Atlas AC25/SF Plus!. This guitar is a touch more than your high end listed, but not by much!. Ive seen a few on-line dealers selling this for around 1100!. By the way!.!. a guitar of this quality I would have absolutely no problem buying online with or without playing in a store first!. Ive been doing a lot of online shopping lately, have played guitars im interested in buying in local dealers, made sure they were all consistent in fit, finish, playability, and have in the last year saved HUNDREDS of dollars in sales tax by purchasing on line!. Any of the guitars that Marlowe listed as well as myself I would feel comfortable buying online!. These are all VERY good companies that have a high end reputation to uphold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com i highly admire the quality of Taylor guitars, Martin guitars, and Takamine guitars!. I couldn't afford a Taylor or Martin, so I got a Takamine!. I really enjoy it!. Cutaway acoustic-electric @ $500!. These are the top 3 in MY OPINION, not based on fact!. other good Gibson make good acoustic guitars too, but i feel they should just stick with their electrics!. Gibson acoustics are more like a piece of artwork rather than a guitar!. oops, i totally spaced out on Guild!. Amazing guitars! John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls plays guild acoustics!.
