Go which ever one you like more!. The more you enjoy it, the more you'll continue playing, no matter how difficult!.

Both have their difficulties!. Drums, include much multitasking!. You also have to be able to keep a steady tempo, because drums are the backbone of ANY band!. Try air drumming to your favorite song, if you can move your hands and feet at different times, and still be in beat, then you can definitely play drums, even better would to try a friends drum set, if you have any that have one!.

For guitar, you have to actually know notes, not just rhythms (though I guess you already know that since you play a little)!. For guitar, you need to think in different ways!. I mean you have to think up and down the strings, and across, meaning you have to know where the notes are on the string, and how to play from one string to another, a good excercise is to play scales up the string, and then across them!.

Hope this helps your decisionWww@QuestionHome@Com

I believe that guitar is harder to MASTER!. But getting down the basics of drumming; 5-stroke rolls, rolls, triplets, funk, double bass, etc!.!.!.!. Getting down these basics in drumming is harder to get down the basics of guitar!. But there is no real theory, like modes, scales, etc!. SO once you can play the basics of drums you can play a lot!. So yes, as a beginner, drumming would be harder!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first of all both take a lot of time to master let alone learn!. for guitar you've gotta learn picking, chords, finger-tapping, the ability to do something with both arms and 5 fingers at the same time, notes, harmonics, string names, tunings, and all that good stuff!.!.!.while on the other hand, drumming you've got to learn how to keep a rhythm steady for 2-5 minutes long, how to use both arms and legs at the same time, rudiments, double bass sometimes, how to use kicksnares, basses, hi-hat and cymbals right, and you've got to have a lot of endurance!.!.!.so it's all on you on which you think is harder to play!.!.!.i honestly think drums are harder to play and yes i do play bothWww@QuestionHome@Com

for me, guitar is harder! both instruments have techhnical issues that make them difficult to master!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would say the guitar but it all depends, i'm tone deaf, therefore the fewer tones i need to recognize the betterWww@QuestionHome@Com

Both require being able to multi-task: drums moreso!. I'd say drums!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
