I haven't played the violin, but I have played my friend's cello, and guitar is much easier!. A classical guitar is just a type of acoustic guitar!. Most acoustic guitars are made for use with metal strings; steel, nickel, brass, whatever you feel like buying, but classical guitars are meant for nylon strings, making them softer, with a different tone, but a lot easier to play!. If you can already read music, you won't really need tab!. Tab is pretty easy, but it shows how to play the music, not what the music is!. It won't show the length of each note, but it will show you on where and on which string to finger the note!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, the guitar is much, much easier than the violin!. You can pick up the guitar fairly easily!. See:
