Piano-

I play piano myself, and it is by far the most easiest instrument to learn!. Most people quit other instruments, but piano is the easiest to learn, especially starting!. Piano lessons usually vary between $20-30 for a half an hour lesson, depending on your teacher!. Piano is the easiest instrument to learn because the keys are right infront of you, and there is no extra type of note-reading required!. Guitar, you have to learn the fretboard and that branches into all other dramas!. Plus, most melodies, songs, etc are almost always produced in Piano sheet music first!. Piano is also the easiest to find sheet music!. Plus, all you have to learn is 7 notes of the piano keys, and it just repeats onto the rest of the piano!. Plus, with piano any age is suitable to start, whether you're 6, or 60!. Of course, younger is better and 14 is a good age to starting casual piano!. Piano exams, and diploma's are the only ones I have heard of!. I have never heard of a Guitar Diploma or otherwise!. The strings- i!.e violin are some of the hardest instruments to master, as you have to concentrate on two parts at once, your finger movement, and the position of the bow!. But I think violin lessons are cheaper!. Piano teachers are more common, as it is the most popular instrument in the world due to it's easyness to learn!.

In the long run, piano would be much more beneficial to you!. Once you learn piano and how to read the music for it, every other instrument is instantly easier!. However, piano and violin are both very hard and require a degree of flexibility in your fingers!. You should give one a try at least, but at your age, it may be a little bit hard already to play!. Guitar is an easy and popular instrument, so you can do that if piano or violin doesn't work out!. I would take piano or violin because those require real work and practice and would look much better on applications for college :)
Guitar is one of those instruments that just slip and slide away once you stop playing it, but piano and violin will stick with you, once you learn it well!.
Best of luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

guitar is like the "cool" pick, and it would probably be more fun because you could play along with your favorite music!. i bet most people stick with this one!. i've known a lot of people who've given up with the piano!. plus, you can write and play acoustic songs and impress that special guy/girl!. haha!. the piano and violin seem more "proper"!. but it would also be kind of cool to just know how to play piano/keyboard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally, Id say piano, because knowing your scales on there, and the way notes sound can really help you out with playing other instruments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
