Your teacher can show you!. Alternately, there's a step-by-step explanation with pictures at frets!.com (see link below)!. also, if you search on "change guitar strings" at YouTube!.com you will get a million helpful hits!. The only reason to go to a music store is to get a new set of strings and to buy a combination string winder/pin puller (usually around $2)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you loosen them at the head and sometimes there's pegs in the bridge at the bottom, keeping the strings in the guitar- take these out gently!. I usually use some needle-nose pliers to do this!.
then get your new strings(they should have gauges or numbers on them, the largest one is your low E, and the smallest is your high E) out and put them on from the outside working towards the middle of the neck!.dont tighten them too much until you get all six in, then tune them!.
they will probably come out of tune within an hour or two!. they have to stretch and relax before they'll hold a tune, usually!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The best approach to installing new strings is to take the guitar to a reputable music store, buy a pack of strings, and ask that a technician assist you in the installation!.

Most stores that I have frequented install the strings at no cost--other than the price of the strings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'll use my memory since i've only changed mine once and it was in march!. first, make sure you have all the correct strings and know where each one goes!. to remove the old strings, u will need like a pliers or a tool like it!. There are little nobby-like things keeping the strings in by the front(sorry, forgot my guitar lingo)!. You take those out carefully without breaking one (like me)!. take out the old strings then!. at the other end, turn the nobs(where you tune the guitar) until the strings come out!. Then simply put the end of the new string with the circle on the tip in the hole where you removed the nobby-like things!. dont stick it too far!. the at the other end, insert the other of the string into the little slots where you tune the guitar!. twist until its in tune!. a newly strung guitar goes out of tune alot and remember to stretch out the strings on the fret board, by pulling them up!. hope that helpedWww@QuestionHome@Com

I'm supplying you with a number of sites!. It would be easier for you to read than for me to explain!. If you're still having problems, take your guitar to the music store!. They'll replace them for a minimal fee, and you can watch while they change them!.
