Hi cdsd!. I don't know where you can find vintage horns for a good price, as they are usually pretty expensive!. You probably should look for a used instrument in excellent ready-to-play condition!. I would recommend the Yamaha 52 intermediate or the 62 professional or the Super Action 80!. Some places I would check: the local high school band director's as graduating kids are in a hurry to sell their instrument!. Craig's List!.org in your city!. (below is a link to the craigs where I live and what kind of instruments are likely to be offered!. ) eBay has already been suggested, and I know they have a ton there!. Pawn shops in your area!.!.!. I have been to more than a few and not really seen saxes priced for more than $1000!. Try the local new paper, nobody ever thinks of it anymore, but that is where many parents will try to sell an instrument not being played anymore!. also try the music department at the college near you as some students are wanting to sell their intermediate instrument in order to get a step up for their college music program!. Well, there are a few suggestions!. Hope I was able to help!. :))Www@QuestionHome@Com
