I have an Ibanez guitar!. I don't think it goes according to the label and model of the guitar!.

I usually use D'addario strings!. Try number 9 for 80's stuff!. If you want to play sth hardcore, you can take number 10, so that the sound will be kinda harsher or sth!.

Get Elixer brand guitar strings, they are anti-rust, nano-web coated, and last 3-5 times longer than any other guitar strings!.!.!.I use Medium gauge which are !.11-!.49 and i can play anything from blues, to metal, to classic rock with them!.!.!. I like Ernie Ball strings, as far as gauges, i use 10 gauge, 12, etc, these higher gauges give a more full sound that your probably looking for in your metal playingWww@QuestionHome@Com
