Question: Looking to buy a guitar!.!.!. any suggestions!?
I want an electric guitar, and I'm willing to pay up to $1000!. I like to mess around on stage so i want something relatively light!. i hate buying something, and then seeing something a few weeks later that is way better, so i want to cover all of my options now!. ( i don't know if this helps, but i like to play heavier music, like protest the hero, and the fall of troy!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

first, good choices in bands!

the ibanez s series guitars are very light and thin!. great for messing around on stage with!. luke from PTH uses an s prestige (which is a bit more than $1000) but used to use just a regular s series model!. they sell between $500-800 ish!. great guitars and the ibanez wizard necks are extremely thin and fast (i mean really really thin!.!. they're amazing)!. great shred guitars!.
jacksons are also great shred guitars

anything by esp/ltd will do well for the metal sound!. the emg pickups that usually come stock (make sure they're active as well) are amazing!. i play an LTD EX400 with EMG 81/85 and it sounds awesome!. they are a bit heavier than the ibanez's that i was just mentioning though!. but it's not too bad and the tone that you get certainly makes up for it!.
the esp eclipse (EC) series guitars are great looking and sounding!. i've always loved the les paul style guitar and the esp neck with great pickups just makes it so much better!.

those are my two choice guitar brandsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Get of the fence and get a Jackson!. That guitar is super super light!. It has 24 frets, active electronics and a nice floyd rose !. This guitar is very low maintenance and extremely reliabe for stage work!.
The high sistain and harmonics on this guitar is well worth the price!. Ibanez is good and so is Dean!. Dollar for dollar, Jackson is your choice especially in today's music!.
It has nice active electronics that gets you the fender or gibson sound and , of course, its own distinctive sound!.

Finally!.!.!.!.much cheaper in price these expensive ibanez!. The re-sale value of a jackson surpasses any of these guitars and up to par with Gibson and Fender!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
