Question: Viola- buy or rent!?
I'm going to start viola lessons soon, but I'm not sure whether I should buy or rent!. If I rented, $30 per month would probably be the most I could afford!. If I bought, $200 would probably be the most I could afford, but $150 or even $100 would be better!. Which is the best choice for a beginner!? also, please feel free to share any tips about playing or violas in general!. Thank you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i tried trombone a few years back, and the store i got the trombone from had a special 'rent to buy' thing!. basically, you pay for it in installments and if you decide you don't want to play anymore before the payments are finished, you can return the instrument without any more payments!. also, if you do decide to continue playing, you will finish 'renting' it and will then officially own the instrument!. (if you give up after that, you can always sell it as used)!.

check to see if your local music store has that kind of deal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would buy!. Even if it isn't the nicest instrument, renting is like throwing money away!. unless we are talking about a professional series instrument, buying is always better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
