Question: Can some one help me out with My guitar problem!?
I know my way around a guitar ok!.!.!.!.!.Just not the insides!. lol!. Me and my dad took apart one of my guitars, and we decided to put it back together, and after many re-re-re-re-re-re-sodderings!. We can't figure out why it hisses!. It is grounded to the back!. And the imput is correct as far as i remember(but if someone could remind me the Black goes to !?, White goes to !?, that would be cool) But we tried to do everything we know and it still hisses, but only when i touch the string, when i play and open sting it's fine, but as soon as i touch it, it hisses!. Can I get some help please!. Thanks a billion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since you already know how to solder, you can probably save yourself the expense of taking it to a tech by looking around on-line for wiring diagrams for your guitar!. They're quite easy to find, and I've seen pretty much every pickup/control configuration!. Use those to make sure you haven't missed something, and if it still hisses, get some aluminium screening tape from an electrical parts store and screen the inside of the cavity where the controls etc!. are (all of it: the walls of the cavity and the back of the cover plate)!.

If you still have a problem after that, you're no worse off and can take it to a tech knowing you tried your best!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly bro, who knows what you did!. never take apart something important you dont know for sure how to put back together!. Take it to a guitar shop!. Its probably an easy fix and will not be more than $50Www@QuestionHome@Com
