What are some great acoustic songs for the guitar!? Such as the such as the INTRO (acoustic version) of Hotel California!. I love the Spanish feel that has!.

I am looking for something else and I have been playing 2 years!. Is there anything I am missing, perhaps a famous Spanish acoustic player, classical player!.!.!.or additional maybe intros like this, that are simply great!. Any suggestions will be great!. Oh…Any style is good… as long as it has mojo!. (Rock, Classical, Pop, Foreign…!. Anything) But please, something more original then Eric Clapton “Tears from heaven”!. Unless…Mr!. Clapton has some unknown awesome version I have not heard in 33 years!.

Look at www!.sheetmusicplus!.com they have the largest library I know of!. Besides that, if your idea of playing a guitar is to immitate someone else!.!.!. then you have it all wrong!.!.!. you need to be LEARNING your OWN STYLE rather than stealing someone elses or you will NEVER advance!.

I get the feeling that, after 2 years of "playing" the guitar you still can't "play" the guitar!.!.!. you need to learn how to read music rather than trying to copy a few stokes from someone on youtube!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Cavatina, by Standly Myers!.!.!.!.!.!.this was played in the deer hunter!.
Go on Youtube and listen to Peo Kindgren, just type in his name a ask for the Beatles Yesterday!.!.!.!.!.he plays classical guitar, everything from Bach to Guns and Roses, once you type in his name you'll see all his other selections, to me he's one of the best solo artist on youtube!.!.!.!.!.!.try Liona Boyd also!.!.!.!.she has the best tremolo that I've ever heard!.!.!.!.and yes her name is spelled with an ( i ) everyone tells me her name is spelled wrong but it's not, this is the way her father wanted it spelled!.!.!.!.!.once you hear her tremolo I guarantee that you'll be sold!.!.!.!.!.!.all this music should give you some thought for new ideas in guitar playing, this may not be your taste in music but it doesn't hurt to listen to new stuff, it may inspire you!.!.!.!. good luck !!!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

One suggestion -- a pet peeve of mine really -- don't just learn the INTRO to a song -- learn the WHOLE SONG!.

You want to play the acoustic live version of Hotel California!? GREAT! But don't just stop at the intro!. Learn the words and guitar chords and strumming or picking pattern(s) and be able to play the whole thing from start to finish!.

Otherwise what happens is this -- you bring your guitar to a party and start playing the awesome intro to Hotel California!. Everyone is suitably impressed!.!.!.!.but just as you finish the intro some guy or gal with a really good voice starts singing, "On a dark desert highway, Cool wind in my hair!.!.!." and right there you quit playing 'cos YOU don't actually know the song! Its a huge disappointment to everyone listening, and you come off looking and sounding like an idiot because you were too lazy to bother learning the whole song!. No kidding!.

DON'T LEARN INTROS!. LEARN COMPLETE SONGS!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
