I already have an ibanez GAX75 Gio, which my mom bought second hand 2 years ago!. I have been playing it and enjoying it a lot, but lately i have been reading about Kramer guitars!. I am really into the the 80's heavy metal etc!. and i noticed that Kramers were hugely popular for this era of music!. I have been looking at the Kramer VT-111s Deluxe and i am thinking of buying one!. It is very cheap, something like $85 and i am wondering what its quality is like!? And what is it about Kramers that made them so popular!? Any useful advice will earn you 10 points!.!.!. By the way im into black sabbath, skid row, iron maiden etc!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dude, a true 80's guitar is an Ibanez, or ESP!. You are in the right area!. You just need a strat copy or an explorer model!. Kramers are not very good imho!.

Your tone is what matters!. If you want to rock out, replace your stock pickups with some EMG 81/85 active pickups!. (this is the setup that Kirk Hammett and Zakk Wylde use!. You can also get their "passive" counterparts if you didn't want to go the "active" route!.
