I own a kpanlogo drum made by Sonor, but this is a westernized version of the African original, it's built just like most American conga drums but with a little protective sleeve around its bottom so you can rest it on the floor!.

The kpanlogo drum of Ghana is carved from hard red wood, hollowed out from an entire tree trunk using a gouge like the other more famous African drums ashiko and djembe!. The head is traditionally antelope skin, soaked and sewn onto pegs around the rim of the drum!. The head is tunable by hammering the pegs further into the drum shell!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
