Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: yes fool , to the summer school question, and you can bring you high school average way up by getting those good grades NOW, you can still get into a university, you can even get into a better university by going your first two years at some community colleges, you need to check out what curriculum or credits can transfer over to the university you want to go to, you guidance councler in both high school and college can help you with this, please make them earn their money! and, thank god for spell check!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com Which schools you will qualify for depends on your total GPA, your SAT or ACT scores, and an admissions counselor!. You need to get the best grades you can your senior year, so that they will help raise your GPA!. It will also show that you've matured some, which counts a lot at some schools because it increases the likelihood of your success on the college level!. It isn't too early to start corresponding with the schools which most interest you!. You can write the admissions office and let them know of your interest and why they might be interested in you!. Be honest!. Send a letter of explanation about why you got less than good grades and what you have done to correct the situation!. It can't hurt, and someone may even write back with suggestions about how to improve your chances, such as summer school classes to improve some of your low scores!. Sometimes Universities only really look at your Junior year, sometimes your Junior/Senior year and others still look at all four years!. If you do well on your SAT/ACT and keep up your GPA from now till you graduate and get yourself involved in extra-curricular activities then you have nothing to worry about!.
