Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: sameWww@QuestionHome@Com Not all the same!. There are capos for guitars with radiused fretboards and different capos for guitars with flat fretboards (like classical guitars)!. In addition there are capos for vintage electrics with a 7!.25" radius, capos for wide necks (for 12-string guitars), and partial capos (to emulate open tuning)!. That said, a "standard" capo will work on most electrics and acoustics!.Www@QuestionHome@Com They do the same job but ARE NOT THE SAME!. An acoustic neck is fatter and a capo on this type of neck, will not necessarily fit a slim electric guitar neck!. What often happens, is the the first and 6th string tend to buzz because the capo is curved originally, and does not mute the strings well!. The elastic capo is the best for electric since it will mute the strings perfectly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com At LEAST 10 different types of Kapo have been patented and they all work with both electric and acoustic guitars!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Thet are precisely the same!.Www@QuestionHome@Com SameWww@QuestionHome@Com i don't think there is a difference!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
