DR makes colored guitar strings in black blue pink green and red!. Its actually a coating to extend the life of the string, but it noneltheless has its decorative value!. I see them listed for sale at http://www!.juststrings!.com/drstringselec!.!.!. plus there is always EBay!.

That's a waste!. The color would come off after a while and I'd assume the paint would affect the sound!. The only two colors you can really get are silver and copper!.
