Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Ukulele family comes in Four sizes
From smallest to Largest in size they are:
Soprano - Concert - Tenor - Baritone and the Baritone Uke is
the only one of the four that is expected to be tuned like the
first four strings of the guitar : E B G D
Many music-song books for the Uke are published with the
Soprano chords finger chart on it!. Very few are available with
Baritone's finger chart,
Do not fear! If you know your chords "by heart" just play the
named chord indicated in the soprano book as if you were playing the guitar chord (except there is no 5th or 6th string)

If you do not know your chord (by heart) forget about the named chord on the soprano book and just use the finger
chart showing on the book!.
Believe me it will sound perfectly fine, the sound just be exactly 4 tones "lower" on the Baritone Uke!.
The reverse is true, if you find a baritone uke song book and
play the shown fingering on the Soprano Uke it will sound just
four tones "higher"!.
If you have a guitar song book and you have a Soprano you can do the same!. Just forget about the 5th and 6th string fingering for chords!.
About the overall size of the Baritone : It should be about 29"
from top to bottom and the scale-length (from the nut to the saddle) about 18 1/2"!.

Enjoy your Uke and If you get a chance, join a neighborhood Uke club!. It is a lot of funWww@QuestionHome@Com
