One thing that tends to elude a lot of musicians is the ability to listen to yourself "out front"!.

It helps to practice in the biggest room you have available to you in your house!. Try hearing things off the wall that is furthest away from you!.

Every performance venue is different, and you need to find the acoustics of every "room", so to speak!.

If you are truly "Onstage", and you are miked, make sure that you can always hear yourself in the monitor speakers, and that you are blending with the other instrumentalists, or vocalists!.

Best of luck to you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here is a list!. It's the clearest way to organize my thoughts!.

*Articulation and Enunciation are key!. Even though articulating may seem trivial, the louder you are the harder it is for your audience to understand you!. Spit the words out as hard as you can!. The faster the better on consonants!.

* Project from your diaphram, no nasally voices!.

*If you have a body mic, which, unless you have a leading role or are working for a professional theatre group, you probably won't, ask the costume dsesigner or dressers about putting it behind your ear!. It is usually louder there!. It also works fairly well on your shrt collar, but woe to you if you have any quick changes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

most of the time when i speak on stage i usually dont have a microphone!.!.!.!.so i project my voice from my stomach!.!.!.!.i try to face front when i am speaking to the audience as opposed to having my back to them and muffling the words!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For me when i am confident i sound better and louder than when i have stage fright!. also try talking directly into the microphone and talking clearly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
