I understand you!. I played the violin in concerts with my class in front of alot of people and it wasnt bad i enjoyed it although i got somewhat nervous!. There was recently a local competition for singing here so i went!. I have a good voice, and i looked great, the song went perfectly with my voice, but when i was onstage i messed up the lyrics because i got stage fright!. The judges told me to keep on going and i did but i didnt win because of what happened!. I recommend you to just try to forget about the people who are watching you and focus on the music!. Who cares what they may be thinking!. Just take deep breaths and try to relax as much as possible!. Stage fright can go away with practice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Firstly, make sure you're more than satisfied with yourself when singing alone!. Then do the same thing around just a couple of people you know--your parents, for example, and your best friend!. Remind yourself that it's just a practice!. Do it till you're confident in yourself!. Then, when you go to do it for real, get up there and remind yourself how much you rock!. Don't pay any attention to the crowd; what's the worst that can happen!? If you choke, it's not like they'll make a huge deal of it--but you won't, because you've just read this great guide on getting rid of stage fright :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

try to preform as much as you can, especially with groups!. like i used to HATE getting up before crowds to sing but now im like w/e ive done it before i can do it now!. it really helps if your in like a choir or a large group of people in general because then you can think more of how people wont be singling you out!. good luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

This happens to me all the time:

First take a breath, try to calm down a bit
Then tell yourself that if you got the part, you obviously were good!
And lastly just get onto the stage, once your on there andd the audience makes a noise for you, most nerves go awayWww@QuestionHome@Com

Stage fright feels scarier than it really is!. Once you are on that stage, the fright will most likely go away within 5 minutes!.
It is something all artists have to go trough I guess!.

If you feel really nervous, you can always imagine the crowd is naked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am a person without stage fright, and when I'm on stage, I just think to myself, "I know I'm good at it, so I won't make a fool of myself!." If oyu know your good at whatever you do, then go for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay this may sound weird for me i get stage fright but what i do is focus for five minutes that there no audience so when i go out there and look i see no one and i can be the actor or singer or suchWww@QuestionHome@Com

What i do is to breath deeply and just go for it!.

Don't think about!. Just think that you have a chance to shine and "wow" the crowd!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
