Question: What is "experience"!?
I'm 14, and all i want to do is get on Broadway, and be in movies
I'm ending my 12th year of dancing this June, and I'll be starting my 13th in September
I can sing, I'm not amazing, but i can carry a tune, but I've been begging my parents for lessons, so hopefully that happens soon
What really is the "experience" that i need to get myself known!?
and how will i make this happen for myself!?
I'm reeeaaallyy seriousabout this, and i need to let my parents knwo that, because they still think this is a "phase" (faze!? lol) even though ive felt the same way my whole life

Well u could join a community theatre near you!. They always have interesting plays!. for example one near me did beauty in the beast and this girl in my chorus class played bella!. Once you do more plays and musicals like that you can list it on resumes!. ANother thing you should definetly do is get backsatge magazine!. IT has dates of auditions for movies and brodway shows and what their looking for!. MAybe look for some acting classes!. And you're right to want voice lessens b/c they really do help your voice!. I'm in advanced chorus and the best we have take voice lessens!. If you're in school you could ask the chorus teacher if she recommends anyone!. Once your parents see how much work you're putting in overtime they will realize it's not a phase!. trust me i know where you're coming from because i had to prove myself to my dad!.
