It's perfectly fine to be nervous!. Being nervous simply says that you care about how your performance goes!.

Quite often, there is an audience!.!.!. or, a performance hall!.!.!. that just feels intimidating!. For that, only countless performances in that hall will help!. As for your audience, in most cases these people are people who genuinely care for you, and who want for you to play well!. They are your friends!. The rest of the people just plain do not count!

The best solution to help is to focus on making your performance about the music!. Listening to other performers recordings is very helpful to contribute towards your own artistic development!. Trying to imagine the sound models which appeal to you in their performances, and incorporating them into your own playing will help you to concentrate on your performance as well!.

If you've prepared yourself for the performance, who knows the music better than you do!? Performances vary according to many other factors!.!.!. time of day, size of the group, how you're feeling, how much sleep you've had, whether or not you're hungry, etc!.

Make sure that you are well-hydrated, and that you are relaxed enough to breath properly!.

So, take a deep breath!.!.!. and, play your heart out!Www@QuestionHome@Com
