Question: This one's for standup comedians!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?

I did an open mic night last night!. I noticed that a lot of my shorter guick jokes got more laughs, but some of my longer jokes that I use to make ridiculous exaggerations didn't get as many laughs!. I thought they were funny, but maybe they are to drawn out!. Any advice!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay so what i think you should do is this, the reason why you get more laughs with the short jokes is because it doesnt take that much thinking!. when people go to see some comedians they want funny jokes that are easy to understand!. that is why jerry sienfeld is so popular, because his jokes are easy to get!. so instead of having long jokes try and shorten them and make them more easy to understand!. you will get a lot more laughs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
