I mean, I want to be a film director, so it's a Theater Arts major - Emphasis on film!. Is that the best way to break into the business or is an actual film school where I need to go!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most schools consider theatre arts a BFA (fine arts) and it is a performance focus!. Film studies is its own major within fine arts, but this may vary for the school you want!.!. The best way to break into any business is to meet people, and getting an education helps you do this!. Major in Film (photography, live action,) take writing courses, and maybe even some more technical classes!. York in toronto and possibly ryerson have film programs that are what you are looking for!. You could always make indi films now and enter them in festivals and contests, but you might want the edge and education can offer (intern with tv and work up to movies)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
