You have to have TALENT and, to be a professional, you have to be able to hit the song on the first note!.!.!. you can't just pick at it until you can get started!. You have to always be "on"!. You also need a thick skin because people are not going to be polite and when you are playing you have to play over loud talkers, background noise, cell phones ringing and other destractions, so it's not like playing a concert on in your basement with your air guitar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish with it!.!.!. If you want to tour the world and have name recognition, you need to be really competent!. If you just want to play local weddings and coffee shops, be entertaining and sound good -- that's about all it takes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

very!.!. you can do musical grades up to grade 8 through abrsm and then go to univeristy to further your education!.!.
