Question: What year was As You Like It written in!?

I'm makeing a mini model of the set, and need to know when the story takes place!. costume ideas of Celia and Rosalind would be good too!.

the set has to be in a garden so any info on what a garden might have looked like at that time would be great!.

Nobody knows for sure when Shakespearean plays were written!. The best they can do is estimate using entries by theatre compny managers for gate receipts for the show!. Some of his shows were not in script form until the First Folio (1623), but they had to have been written and produced before about 1612!. The set for all Shakespeare plays is the same; the Globe Theatre had a fixed backdrop with several entrancesWww@QuestionHome@Com
