Beginner guitarist?

Question: Beginner guitarist!?

is it a good idea for me to keep learning new songs, i mean i can play classical gas and tears in heaven and a bunch of other little songs however i dno my scales yet nor all the barre chords

do you recommend that i keep learning songs or going back to basics and getting all those other gaps filled

Depends on what your goals are!.!.!.!.

If you want to learn classical guitar, keep challenging yourself with new songs, etudes, and scales!. Then when you go back and learn chords it should come very easily!.

If you want to learn other styles or music where you always need to rely on chords, then the quick way of learning to play is learning chords!. But if you want to be more advanced then that you will have to eventually go back and learn classical songs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
