I just purchased a fender starcaster for my son!. It comes with a tremolo bar in a plastic bag!. Do you just screw it in and how tight should it be!? also, can I just leave it off without affecting the guitar!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Screw it in until you feel that it's in there all the way, and then don't turn it anymore!. It needs to be able to move back and forth freely and smoothly, but you don't want it to fall out!.

It's not necessary, you can leave it off without affecting the guitar!.

I hope this helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well I'll answer this question by question!.

Q: Do you just screw it in!?

A: Yes, you screw it in the hole next to the string saddles on the bridge of the guitar!.

Q:How tight should it be!?

A:Tightness depends on the players preference!. I personally like my bar loose, but not too loose enough where it will just drag around!. You don't want to make it too tight however, because than you will just get it stuck!.

Q:Can I just leave it off without affecting the guitar!?

A: Yes you may!. Once again, this is all about preference though!. I like to leave my bar on, so when I am playing a song, and I need it I just twist it forward to use it!. Some people like it off entirely though!. Though if you don't need it, you can always just twist it so that the bar faces the back of the end of the guitar!.

Screw it in clockwise motion but , don't over tighten!. You can leave it off amd it won't affect the playability of the guitar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
