Question: I'm gonna by my first drum set !.!.!?
Yeah, so I've taken lessons and know the basics for drumming!. And, well, I'm tired of just practicing with a drum pad and want to buy my first drumset!.
Any good starter brands or anything!? I don't want it to be /too/ expensive, but a drum set that will sound good!.
Tips are also appreciated!. :D Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you can I'd go ahead and get a quality set!. When I was younger and taking guitar lessons I had an old Sears and Roebuck Silvertone guitar!. It cost 19!.95 if that tells you how old I am!. Anyway I struggled with it for 3-4 years!. Fretting cords on it was like fretting cords on a cloths line!. I saved money and got me a good guitar and the difference in the way I played was unbelievable!. I sounded like a pro!. So get the good ones and enjoy them!. Stick with it, practice makes perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally don't think there is much difference in drumsets that cost under $1000 by way of sound!. You could do alot to a cheaper drumset with different heads and alot of tuning time!.
The biggest difference is the hardware, rims, and lugs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
