Question: Acoustic guitar!? Hitting/tapping/knocking!?

Wat is it called when an acoustic guitar player hits the body of his guitar and it makes that hollow knocking sound!? Does it have any name in particular!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's called "tapping" and I use it a lot!. If you learn some of the basic Flamenco tricks you will be surprised at how you can work them into any type of music to give it an effect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a technique that's used in Flamenco music that a lot of acoustic players have borrowed, it a great addition to traditional acoustic, I use it a lot my self !!!!!! It adds something different to acoustic playing, and I myself love it !!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
